This post is an information post about the credit card debt a lot of us are experiencing. To make this post more understandable we will try to separate the use of credit cards you will use in a business process verses credit cards that are used in a personal process.
In the business area any use of any credit card will be a big benefit and will be a lot more manageable. Most banks will initially issue you a credit card that will be in your personal name and never in your business name. The idea of this card is to get it attached exclusively to your business because the use of your business credit card will eventually get you a business credit rating where you can apply for more credit related items through your business name. There may be a means where you can actually use these cards in a way where you can establish business credit a lot quicker than doing it through a personal card usage in a business format.
If your business is set up properly your business should have their own credit reporting system and business credit cards are a must in order to establish business credit. It usually takes about 3 credit cards to establish any good credit rating. This is applicable to both business and personal accounting systems.
Now banks always want you to use your personal credit cards for business purposes. This is because they really want you to be personally responsible as well as responsible through your business income. You want them separate so that you can protect you personal account from possible actions that can be placed upon your business account. And the system works the other way. That is to say that your business account needs to be separated from any actions affecting you personal status. This is the main purpose of all business entities that are Corporations or LLC businesses.
